Dr. Chauvin was born and raised in Franklin, LA. He completed his undergraduate studies at LSU with a degree in Microbiology and graduated from LSU School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S) in 2000.

Dr. Chauvin then continued with a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at LSU and two years of private practice prior to starting an endodontic residency at the University of Connecticut.

In June 2006, he completed three years of postgraduate training in Endodontics finishing the program with a Masters of Dental Science degree.

Dr. Chauvin is married, and his wife, Dr. Frances Chauvin, is a practicing general dentist. They have three children, Faith, Harrison, and Lucy. He is a member of:

• American Dental Association
• Louisiana Dental Association
• American Association of Endodontics
• Acadiana District Dental Association, where he will serve as President in 2011.

Charmaine joined Advanced Endodontics of Lafayette in 2012. She has been in the field of dentistry for 25 years. She is a graduate of USL now known as University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  Her hobbies are listening to music gigs, shopping and deer hunting in Mississippi.

Abby joined Advanced Endodontics of Lafayette in 2021. She graduated from Southwest Dental Academy in 2018. Her hobbies include shopping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She has a son named Baylen!

Jill joined Advanced Endodontics of Lafayette in 2022. She has been in Endodontics for 8 years. Jill is married to her husband Adam and has two beautiful children. In her spare time, you can find Jill at her camp, traveling or watching her kids play various sports!
